I have a friend whose halfrican (half black, half white) but she has the hair of a black person. She uses wet2straight and it does wonders for her hair.

I'm asian and my hair can get really wavy in the morning. I use the lowest number and it does great for my hair.

In addition, you can use it when your hairs wet. Just not like drenched.

And my hair is naturally thick, curly, wild, poofy, frizzy. all of the above. i call it the "wild-beast-like mane" attached to my head. And i can straighten my hair in 15mins. (compared to 45 with my old conair one.)
