Dyeing hair white?

Does anyone know where I could get some white (as in white, not blond) hair dye in the UK? Temporary would probably be best, but my hair is short anyway so permanent would do just as well.

I do not think you can find while hair color in a normal drugstore or pharmacy, I also doubt it if you can find grey. But, on the other hand if you go to special stores that sell make-up to actors, you might find white hair dye or grey as on the stage you do need often to change your hair color.

leave bleach on for about 40 minutes. rinse dry and add a whitener for 40 minutes before washing out. this gives my hair a white, almost transparant look.

I would say Bleach too. It will make it quite light. But don't blame us if your friends will need to wear sunglasses to see you. :D lol

Bleach it with the strongest stuff you can find then put an ash blonde through it this will take the yellow tint away and leave it more a white colour!

The only way to get your hair white is to use a high lift blonde or bleach... if your hair is brown then really you need to pre bleach then put a semi permanent violet/ silver over the bleached hair.. I have a grey dye in my salon, but white is very hard to achieve.. usually only works on natural blonde hair.. best advice is to go to a salon.. ask for v light high lift blonde bleach or the blonde 11 series most salons carry them..

You're not the only oneee lol I want to make my hair silvery white too lol. I think bleaching does the trick..but it'd probably have to be something heavy....not the regular bleach at the stores...

White is not a color it is lack of pigment. You will have to remove color by bleaching probably more than once. Use a cream bleach and if it pulls uneven use shades eq 9v and clear tone for twenty.

you cant go from brunette to white 'temporary' the best thing would to be get it done at a salon. You will probabally need a few treatments of bleach to get all the colour out

It would not be advisable to go to the extreem of bleaching your hair white as this will damage it so much your hair may fall out. Maybe you could look for a white spray just to coat your hair in a white colour.
