i had light to medium brown hair, i have made it blonde in the past and grew it back out, hub wanted it blonde again so i put Born Blonde on it. Now my roots are really blonde and the rest is pale neonish yellow! Please tell me what i can buy to fix it. Don't have enough money to go to a salon! it's hideous! please help me!

You have to get a home bleaching kit and then after bleaching lighten it with a color such as medium ash blonde. This will take the yellow out and can be done yourself in less than an hour.

There is shampoo for blondes, made by Pantene that comes in a white bottle with silver and/or writing on it. I can't remember the exact name. It will take the brassiness away.

your going to have to bleach it out almost white and then color it over that, hair goes like white, blonde, red, brown black, that is how hair works, but you will have to take it all the way to platinum

You can get a toner from any hair salon, use that it should tone alot of the yellow down.

If you have natural red tones in your hair you will have alot of trouble getting it to go blonde.

If you really can't afford to go to a salon (which is what you should really do) , you will need to bleach your hair again. But with utmost care.

First, you should consider cutting your hair shorter. The shorter the hair, the better. Hair from the roots are the easiest to bleach and dye, and it gets harder the farther the hair away from the roots.

Bleach your hair again, but make sure that you do not touch the roots. If you do, you are risking your hair falling off. Keep checking your hair whilst it is bleaching and make sure you don't leave it any longer that you should.

Buy a toner (purple/lavender colour) that is especialy formulated to even out the yellowish tint on blondes. Purple/lavender based shampoos and conditioner for blondes will also help and you really should buy it to keep your hair as light as possible. Conditioner is a MUST as your hair will be really dry.

Good luck. It will not be easy. Just re-think about what you are doing if you are too nervous. I know vanity has a price, but you really don't want to pay a heavy price on it if you are not careful....

Has a new hair dye out it has ammonia in it it works great it is about 11.00 but well worth it

Try using Redken Pure Pearl. Its made just to cut the yellow out of blondes. You can get it at most salons and they are even selling it at certain grocery and drug stores. Its also a great conditioner and smells yummy! Good Luck! -S

dont bleach your hair again, it will dry it out buy a clairol dye in the blonde shade you want and that will sort it out you can go to the hairdressers for advise this wont cost you anything

You can either put some more bleach on the parts that are darker but make sure you don't put it on the roots. or Just buy some more blonde dye and put it on your hair. Hopefully that will help.

You need to let your hair rest for about 2 weeks.Sorry, just wear a hat in the mean time. Next, go get a blonde shade darker then what you have on your roots, maybe try strawberry blonde it has a little red in it. Hopefully that will help. Good luck.

I would use a toner, they can be pricey, but you may be able to find a good one for a good price but i can't help you any more because i never bleached my hair. You could get suggestions of what toner you should use.
