Well, after you go to another salon, you can legally sue the previous salon. Under legal rights, you they have to provide you with what you paid for. You pay for blonde, they dye you orange... they should fix it. They should have known what dye to use in the first place.

Of course, if you don't want to go through all that... try contacting that chain's district manager and informing them of the actions of that specific store's employees. I don't know what they'll do to fix it - it might be as little as scolding the employee or as much as giving you a full refund - but they'll have to do -something-.

Salons don't always have the money to turn away their customers like many bigger businesses do. They'll be grovelling to make sure you're coming back.

Go to your local newspaper. I'll bet they'd love a human interest story like yours, and I'll bet you'll get offers from a lot of hair salons (including the one who did the damage in the first place) to fix it for free.

I agree. I would try a different salon. After making sure I had talked to the highest up person in that first salon, and remembering to mention what a big mouth I have for bad mouthing that salon to everyone I know. I hope she didn't pay for the orange hair. If she did, I would demand my money back.

Orange? Do you mean that your daughter wanted blonde, so they put haircolor removal stuff and it became orange? If so then you cant sue them or anything, that happens sometimes when removing hair color.
