Leave the blonde... especially if you want a drastic and noticeable change. I think the blonde w/ black or dark brown color underneath is hot. but, if you just want something subtle, do the red.

Get the blonde highlights first. Introduce one new thing at a time. You can always go back and add red..but if they end up being too much they are a pain to get out!

I was talking to my stylist the other day about this trend. A 40 yr. old woman I work with had it done. I asked my stylist if a lot of people are still requesting this, and she said no. Today's look is a lot more natural.

I would scrap the under-black and just go with soft, natural highlights.

i say do blonde highlights cause im learning from experience that red is really hard to get out, you have to go darker to cover it up.

in my opinion, i think you should either do the red highlights or both!! i think the red would accicent the black!

if you have naturally blond hair balck will make you look really pale...your best bet is to pu like a lot of dark dark brown in your blond the if it looks good then try black
