i was wondering if i could use the shampoo for blond hair liek the pantine pro-v one or the john freda one on my dark brown hair, my moms friend said that it will give me sligh highlights n make my hair a little lighter, but im scared it might ruin my hair.

no it doesnt ruin your hair, i have dark brown hair too and i use brilliant blonde or whatever that stuff is called by john freida i think. it makes my hair lighter and gives me blonder undertone while keeping it brown and silky and shiny.
