it may look nice but in my opinion black hair and blonde highlights creates too much of a contrast and can look tacky. I think you should change the colour to a dark chocolaty brown with thin lighter brown highlights

Guys don't pay nearly as much attention to a girl's hair as you think. We see things in four colors--black, blonde, red, and brown. Things like streaks or highlights are too subtle for us to notice.
