Hair ideas, please??

I'm getting my hair cut today, and I need an idea for a cut. I have golden blond hair with natural brown streaks. I have side bangs and my hair is about 4 or 5 inches below my shoulder. I have layers, but they're grown out. I don't wanna take too much off the bottom, I wanna keep it near the shoulders. Any ideas? Also, I'm going to a casual jeans dance tonight and I need a few styling tips or hairstyles. Thanks!! :D
